As someone who is naturally very pale and doesn't tan naturally, spray tanning was always something that has made me feel more confident and sexy in my own skin. But more importantly, after seeing several friends battle melanoma, I knew I had to take action toward preventing women from laying in tanning beds.
Long before I started my own spray tan business, I had quite a few spray tans myself. The first one was in a booth - it was a disaster. Never, ever again! Others were in salons and suites, and while the technique of most of the artists was absolutely wonderful - I often left stinky, sticky, and not quite sure what to do afterwards.
When it came time to plan my own spray tan business, I knew I wanted to get certified and perfect my technique - of course! But I also envisioned an elevated experience. Only the highest quality products and ingredients - organic and natural - and never smelly. I knew I didn't want my clients to leave with that "wham bam thank you ma'am" feeling - so I take the time to talk them through everything, hand blend when needed, and end with a gorgeous, glowy, smell good-y finishing powder.
